Start Here!

Sunday Activities

Welcome to NANOG! Sunday's activities begin at 2 p.m. with (optional) tutorials, followed by a 5:30 p.m. NANOG Community Meeting (where committee reports are given and the community can ask questions of the committee chairs and Merit Network--the organization that coordinates all NANOG meetings.) An optional offsite welcome social also begins at 7:00 p.m.

Monday - Wednesday Activities

Please plan to attend the Newcomers' Breakfast on Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Regency Ballroom. Breakfast will also be available in the Grand Foyer. Monday's General Session will start at 9:30 a.m. A copy of the abbreviated meeting agenda is included with your name badge, and a complete agenda can be found at http://nanog.org/meetings/nanog47/agenda.php. Slides for all General Session talks will be linked off the agenda page just prior to the talk. The General Sessions are Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 am - 4 pm and the various concurrent breakouts (tutorials, tracks, and informal BOFs) are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Approximately two weeks after the meeting a copy of the recorded presentations will be placed on the meeting website. On Wednesday there is an IPv6 joint General Session with ARIN that runs from 9 to 10:20 am.

Monday Evening

Monday evening from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in Desoto there will be informal BOF's. Sign-up sheets will be located by NANOG registration.

From 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. is the Beer ‘n Gear. It's a time to socialize with attendees and with engineers from sponsoring companies, who are there to answer your questions and hear your comments. Enjoy the beer, wine, and appetizers provided by the sponsors.

Tuesday Evening

Tuesday there is an optional social for both NANOG and ARIN meeting attendees, sponsored by ARIN, at 7 pm in the Rotunda on the 16th Floor.
